One of my favorite places in the world. Mantaangan is a tiny fishing town on the shore of the Guimaras Strait about 30 minutes from the region's capital Bacolod. Some of the nicest, most humble people I've ever met are from Mantaangan.
I shot this "panorama" with my point-and-shoot sometime in 2003 while doing missionary work in the Philippines. The images are a bit blurred and the metering is different in each frame but it's always been one of my favorite images I've ever taken.
